Envelopes for the Easter collection are to be found in the porch. Thank you.
Catholic teachers in Non Catholic Schools: A morning with Bishop Declan is going to be held on the 13th March between 10.30 and 12.30. Bishop Declan and Mr McNiff, the Director for the Department of Schools and Colleges in the Diocese will be talking about opportunities and challenges in our Catholic schools today. There are a great many opportunities in catholic schools in the Diocese. See the notice board for more details or speak to me.
Papal Preparations: With the prospect of Pope Benedict XVI visiting this country later in the year, our award-winning website cliftondiocese.com is looking for your memories and photographs of the last papal visit back in 1982. As we look forward to welcoming the Holy Father to the UK, tell your story by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Penitential Service: The Church requires that each and every Catholic should make use of the Sacrament of penance. A penitential service will be held at 3.00 pm on Sunday 21st March, where there will be at least 4 priests available to hear confessions. Please do make use of this opportunity.

Tea in the Hall: Please do come through to the hall after Sunday Mass and very friendly and welcoming group there for tea, coffee and a biscuit and the children can run about safely in the garden. The more people the better!
Parking: Please do try to utilize all the space in the car park by filling it up from the back and also parking close to other cars so that more spaces are available. It would also be advisable to park in Briansclose Road behind the church and then use the pedestrian through path between nos 69 and 71 Oxford Road. There is also usually space available in the The Pippin and sometimes in Abberd Way. Please don’t park illegally.
New Translation of the Roman Missal: The new Missal will probably be introduced into parishes in England in 2011. A proper process of catechesis needs to take place before this happens and a good starting point is to have a look at the texts which have already been improved. You can do so by going to the American Bishops’ Conference’s Liturgy page at http://www.usccb.org/liturgy/missalformation
